RAWEP students of Agricultural College, Warangal allotted to KVK, Malyal organized a Rythusadassu and Agricultural exhibition at Kambalapalli village of Mahabubabad Mandal, Mahabubabad district on 26-04-2025. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, ADR, CTZ, RARS Warangal acted as the chief guest of the programme. Inaugurated the exhibition stalls prepared by RAWEP students on “Direct seeding Paddy, IPM in Chilli, HDPS Cotton, Integrated farming system, mulching, micro irrigation, Shade net, Poly house, Hydro phonics, etc”. The guests keenly listened to the explanation given on different exhibits and their importance by the students. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), explained work carried by RAWEP students in the village and RAWEP programme objectives. Later, the students shared their RAWEP experiences and host farmers expressed their views on the programme. Smt. L. Yashawini, Assistant Professor (Pathology) from Agricultural College, Warangal expressed that students should utilize this RAWEP programme for the knowledge improvement and to know the latest agriculture and allied sector developments in field level. Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture), explained about importance of summer ploughing, soil testing, IPM practices to be followed by farmers in Chilli and Turmeric crops. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal, addressed the gathering and remarked that with RAWEP students get a chance to acquaint them with ground situation in agriculture and allied sectors and village farmers to know about get latest agriculture technologies through RAWEP students, stressed on HDPS cotton, green manure crops sowing before paddy and chilli and IPM in all the crops. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, ADR, CTZ, RARS Warangal congratulated the students for their effort on successful conduct of Rythusadassu and Agricultural exhibition at Kalbalapalli village. Farmers should avoid mono cropping, Produce own seed and good management practices for high yields, Smt.K. Manasa, Assistant Professor (microbiology) and 125 farmers visited the stalls and attended the Sadassu from different villages of the district.
